Insurance claims

Your claim, documented like we expect to defend it

Most claim disputes are documentation problems. EMS builds your file from the first hour, photos, moisture readings, inventories, and speaks with your adjuster directly, so the settlement reflects the real loss.

How it works

Four commitments on every claim

Stabilize first

Emergency mitigation protects the property and satisfies your policy duty to prevent further damage. This happens before paperwork.

Document everything

Dated photos, moisture maps, affected-material inventories. Your file is built the way adjusters expect to read it.

One scope, defended

We prepare a line-item scope and communicate with your adjuster directly, so the claim covers what actually happened.

Rebuild to the scope

The approved scope becomes the rebuild plan, executed by our own licensed construction crew, no second contractor to brief.

Straight answers

Claims questions, answered

Should I call my insurance company or EMS first?

In an active emergency, call EMS first: stopping the damage protects both your home and your claim, and policies require you to mitigate further loss. We help you report the claim right after the property is stabilized.

Do you bill the insurance company directly?

We work directly with your adjuster on scope and documentation throughout the project. How payment flows depends on your policy and carrier; we explain the arrangement clearly before work begins, in writing.

What if the adjuster disagrees with the scope?

Our documentation is built for that conversation: dated photos, moisture readings, and line-item scope. When questions come up, we walk the adjuster through the evidence rather than leaving you to argue alone.

Is the damage even worth a claim?

Sometimes it is not, and we will say so. If the repair cost is near your deductible, we will tell you plainly so a small job does not become a claims-history problem.
